COREOBJECTS RELEASES BETA OF PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT (PLM) SOFTWARE FOR CLIENTS
ClearVU™ brought to the desktops of clients for development cycle visibility
Los Angeles, CA, December 7, 2005 – CoreObjects Software, Inc, leading provider of Distributed Cooperative Software Development™ services for commercial software vendors, today announced the availability of ClearVU™. ClearVU™ is a product lifecycle management (PLM) system that acts as a framework and lens into the software development lifecycle. ClearVU™ was spun out of CoreObjects as a separate company last year, but retained a license for internal use.
“CoreObjects has always sought to productize product development, and leveraging ClearVU™ is a part of that vision”, says Satish Ramakrishnan, CTO. “Providing visibility and accountability to our clients has always been our goal, and ClearVU™ helps us fulfill that goal by showing the entire development cycle to our clients in a dashboard view. Even non-technical people can understand the impact of delays in the development cycle by looking at ClearVU™,” explained Satish.
“We are really excited to be able to add this kind of value to our clients at no charge”, says Douglas Gold, VP of Business Development. “Our competitors can claim CMM and ISO’s, but we can actually deliver with ClearVU™. There’s no hiding behind certifications with ClearVU™, you’re either meeting your commitments of delivery to your client or you’re not”, says Douglas.
