Responsibilities:
- Provide technical vision for product development
- Assess technical feasibility, implementation risks and costs early in the product lifecycle
- Design and implement Technical Architecture for the products
- Guide the technical team in analysis, design, implementation & integration phases of the product development
- Ensure robustness, scalability, usability and maintainability of systems
Requirements:
- Expertise in design and architecture of multi-tier web applications coupled with a lot of exposure to wide ranging technologies (Internet, Databases, Application Servers, Messaging Servers, RPC Technologies & XML Technologies)
- Proficiency in at least one distributed component technology (EJB, COM/DCOM, CORBA) and deep understanding of J2EE or .NET/DNA
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Object Oriented Design & Development with UML and Design Patterns # Proficiency either in Java or C++
- Good understanding of Scalability, Availability & Usability of enterprise web applications & best practices for Software Engineering
- Conversant with various Application Architectures and Design Approaches
- Excellent communication, client interfacing and people management skills
- BS/MS/BTech/MTech with at least 8 years of relevant experience
