Job Location: Bangalore/Pune/Noida
Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering execution on a given Account for multiple product lines
- Responsible for the acquisition of appropriate resources for the engagement
- Create, approve, update, track and manage the overall engineering execution plan(s)
- Provide pre-sales technology/engineering support to Direct sales organization
- Estimate time, effort and resources required for a product development engagement
- Interact with customers on engineering related issues
- Manage and mentor the direct engineering reports
- Create a competitive differentiator at the engagement level
Requirements:
- Very strong exposure to majority of technology/language environments under either Microsoft or Java
- More than 10 years of experience overall with at least 3-4 years managing software product teams preferably medium to large teams (more than 10 people)
- Very good Project Management skills
- Very good understanding of various development methodologies/processes preferably agile
- Strong design and development (programming) skills
- Experience being a Software Architect
- Exposure to Databases and good understanding of performance and scalability related aspects
- Good understanding of Scalability, Availability & Usability of enterprise web applications & best practices for Software Engineering
- Conversant with various Application Architectures and Design Approaches
- Excellent communication, client interfacing and people management skills
- BS/MS/BTech/MTech with at least 10 years of relevant experience
